PROJECTS

Christmas in July Canned Food Drive

Christmas in July was founded in 2010 to address a simple idea: poverty and hunger are not exclusive to the winter months, when countless service and religious organizations hold canned food drives. Christmas in July's first event will be held in Loveland, Ohio, to benefit the FreeStore/FoodBank of Greater Cincinnati, which distributes over 12 million pounds of food annually to residents of 20 counties in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky.

For more information on the project, or to discuss holding an event in your area, please contact Peter Beaucage, Project Manager, at peter@concordiahumana.org. Our first event will take place in the Fox Meadow neighborhood of Loveland, Ohio on July 25, 2010.
