• Thank-you Letters from the Solar Cooker Project
  The Jewish World Watch Solar Cooker Project thanks Concordia Humana for recent donations of over $5,500 this past summer. The donations helped fund the production and distribution of over 60,000 solar cookers to refugee camps in Chad.
• First Christmas in July fundraiser a huge success!
  Concordia Humana kicked off its second project with a bang today, collecting 1076 pounds of nonperishable food for Cincinnati's FreeStore Foodbank in Loveland, Ohio. Special thanks to the volunteers who collected all day in the 90º heat and, of course, to everyone who donated.
• Summer of Donuts Begins!
  Congratulations to the parishioners of St. Margaret of York (Loveland, OH) and St. John the Evangelist (West Chester, OH), who raised a combined total of $1637 in the first donut sales of the summer! Donuts for Darfur will be returning to St. John’s June 13 and August 1, and SMOY June 27, July 25, and August 22.

WELCOME

Concordia Humana is a student-founded, student-run charity which exists solely to help those in need. For us, raising awareness isn't enough. We don't just want people to know about others' sufferings; we want people to do something about it.

Donuts for Darfur started in 2008 by selling donuts to raise anti-genocide funds at St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati, OH. The money raised from Donuts for Darfur goes to the Jewish World Watch's Solar Cooker Project, a peaceful initiative toward ending violence against women in Darfur.
