First Christmas in July fundraiser a huge success! ( Mon, 26 Jul 2010 )
Concordia Humana kicked off its second project with a bang today, collecting 1076 pounds of nonperishable food for Cincinnati's FreeStore Foodbank in Loveland, Ohio. Special thanks to the volunteers who collected all day in the 90º heat and, of course, to everyone who donated.

Congratulations to the parishioners of St. Margaret of York (Loveland, OH) and St. John the Evangelist (West Chester, OH), who raised a combined total of $1637 in the first donut sales of the summer! Donuts for Darfur will be returning to St. John’s June 13 and August 1, and SMOY June 27, July 25, and August 22.

The new staff for Donuts for Darfur in the 2009-2010 school year at St. Xavier has been announced. Hans Kathmann will be the new president, Joe Kenner will be vice president, and Steven Cionni is the new advertising and public relations director.
