Your contribution will fund the building of a solar-powered well for a community in the remote, arid countryside around Harar, Ethiopia. This well will provide a permanent source of clean, accessible water, and free up several hours currently spent each day by women and children fetching it from far away. This extra time can then be used by the community for education and development. You are not giving one-time aid. You are giving this community the ability to continually improve itself.
Concordia Humana's budget has consistently held about 5% administrative overhead since its inception in 2009. All staff are currently volunteers, who cover all travel-related expenses personally.
